Booking Deposit and Payment (Family Photography)
When you are ready to book your session, payment of your $50 session fee will hold the date just for you. This fee is non-refundable. I will reserve the half-day in which you book (morning or afternoon/evening) just for you, to ensure that you have a relaxed and fun photo session that you love. The session should last about an hour, but we want to have some breathing room!
Cancellations
Once you book your session and pay your booking deposit, I will hold your date for you. However, if you need to reschedule due to emergency, illness, or other unavoidable circumstances, I will be happy to re-book your session anytime within a year. Your booking deposit is non-refundable, but you may reschedule your session once without penalty, or in extreme circumstances, you may transfer your booking fee to someone else for their use. Should you need to reschedule your session a second time, an additional $25 fee may apply.
I will make every effort to avoid having to cancel a session, but from time to time an emergency, illness, or other unavoidable circumstances may arise that require me to reschedule. In this case, I will contact you as early as possible to arrange a date that is mutually agreeable. No refund will be given in the case that I need to reschedule, but the same re-booking policy applies.
Adverse Weather
Sometimes the best photos happen on overcast days! Having said that, we don't want to be outside in a thunderstorm! In the days leading up to your session, I will keep an eye on the weather forecast, and communicate with you about the possibility of postponing your session if necessary. We can make a final decision together the day before your session. If the weather won't be suitable for a session, we will reschedule for another date at no extra charge.
During your consultation, we will establish whether there are any particular moments you'd like me to try to capture. But on any given day, kids are just as susceptible as the rest of us to moods and feelings, and if a moment just isn't happening, it's usually best not to push it. Let's go into your session with the understanding that we're setting out to capture genuine moments, and let the rest unfold.
After your session, I will carefully select the very best images to present to you. Please note that I do not show or release unedited images. Every image you see will be carefully selected and edited by me, and available for ordering in your online gallery.
Your Images
Please be ready at the agreed-upon location a few minutes before the start of your session to ensure that we can take advantage of the full time available to us. I reserve an entire half-day for each client, so if the session runs slightly longer than 60 minutes, we have the freedom to keep having fun. If you need to end the session early, or if your children have had enough and are no longer willing to participate, we will simply stop. Please note that if there is remaining time in the session, and it is ended at your request, the remaining time is not transferrable. I will absolutely do my best to give you a fantastic set of images to choose from, no matter what.
Throughout the session, you are solely responsible for the welfare, behaviour, and actions of yourself and any other participants, including family members and models. Please do not undertake or allow any activity which you deem to be unsafe.
Your Session
I carefully select the best images from our shoot together. These are fully edited and presented to you in your very own password-protected online gallery within 14 days of your session.
You will be able to choose when you would like your gallery to go online for you to view your images and choose your package. A 10% discount will be applied to orders received during the first 24 hours, so it's very important that you choose a time that suits you and any other decision makers so that you can take full advantage of this.
Any orders received after this 24 hour period will be charged full price.
Payment can be made conveniently online via credit card. If you prefer e-transfer, please let me know and it is easy to arrange.
Your images come with a set of 4x6 prints and are generally available within 2 weeks after placing your order. Your images will be delivered on a beautiful USB drive along with your prints and products if you choose to order them. I will contact you when they are ready to arrange a convenient time to drop them off to you.

Branding photography sessions are prepaid, and include all of the images that are the best quality and will reflect you and your brand outstandingly.
Because these sessions are prepaid, no images will be delivered until payment is received in full.
Images will be delivered digitally in most cases, using Google Drive, Dropbox, or a similar service of your preference.
Images will be specially processed to be web-ready while maintaining a high level of print quality for use online and in print.
Payment can be made via credit card or e-transfer. Payment plans are available by request but no images will be delivered until payment has been made in full.
Copyright
Copyright of all images taken during the session remains the sole property of Erin Watt. I reserve the right to use any of the images from your shoot for advertising, display, competition entry, or publication. This includes but is not limited to: print samples, display at trade shows and community events, and website and social media use. I will ask you to sign a release form in advance of your session for yourself, and on behalf of your children who are under 18. If you are uncomfortable with any aspect of the release or the use of your images for any particular purpose, please let me know.
Any digital images you purchase are provided with a print release, which allows you full printing rights for personal use only. It is not permitted to use or print these images for commercial purposes without the express consent of Erin Watt Photography.
Please do not alter in any way the digital images provided to you, including cropping, applying filters, or editing, if you are planning to post them online. If you wish an image re-edited, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your request.

Refunds
Because of the nature of digital images, refunds are not available once images have been delivered. If physical products such as prints or framed artwork are damaged upon arrival to me, I will work with my suppliers to fix the situation. Once physical products are delivered to you, rest assured that they have been closely examined by me and are up to my high quality standards. Please be sure of what you are ordering, and ask any questions in advance, as products are non-refundable.
If images or products do not meet your expectations, please let me know and I will do my best to make things right.
